"Just Curious": Van Rebeck was not racing in the same Interests as Orbiter when he won at Forbury Park on Saturday night and therefore could not be bracketed with that horse. The owners of Orbiter did. however, have an option to buy Van Rebeck and exercised this option after his win. J. C. B. Dowie: The times quoted are all correct. In each case you have failed to take into account the horse’s handicaps. Final results from night trotting meetings in other centres are frequently late in arriving and brief results, without order of favouritism, drivers or times are sometimes all that can be obtained before press time. The result of the Inangahua Handicap at Nelson on Monday was, regrettably, omitted.
