Harold Kneece. who has never won a major golf tournament, took a four-stroke lead in the 100,000-dollar Bob Hope Classic yesterday, shooting his second successive 68. Jack McGowan, who had a 66 on the first day, followed it with a 74, and went down to second place with R. H. Sikes (70, 70) and Jack Rule (72, 68).
