Lisa Goes Well
"The Press’’ Special Service DUNEDIN. An attractive gallop by Lisa and smart trials by Ataarangi. Nippon and AHez Vite were features of the track work at Wingatui yesterday morning. The track was in perfect order. With the trestles 40 feet out on the course proper. A candidate for the Croydon Handicap, the second leg of the Gore Racing Club's T.A.B. double. Lisa was ridden by her race jockey, P. J. Silver. Lisa was two lengths, ahead of Belfie (D. A. Adams) at the end of half a mile in Slsec, the last three furlongs in 39sec. Ataarangi (D. Johnston) worked well on his own in 51 3-ssec. the opening furlong in 12sec. The Faux Tirage gelding is a prospect in the Summer High-weight. AHez Vite (W. C. Gye) completed her preparation for the Gore Racing Club Handicap in pleasing manner with a solid five furlongs in Imin <sec. Nippon (W. C. Gye) dashed over three furlongs in 38 2-ssec, and her stablemate, Satinette (F. Austin), was not out for time tn Usee.
