(New Zealand Press Association)
WELLINGTON, February 3
The chairman of the New Zealand Rugby Union (Mr T. C. Morrison), said tonight he personally did not think the New Zealand union would ever again give full New Zealand status to any team, unless all players good enough were eligible for selection.
Mr Morrison was commenting on the statement by the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake).
“The statement by the Prime Minister that a racially selected team is not a fully representative New Zealand team is valid,” said Mr Morrison.
