Joint Expedition Delayed

WELLINGTON, February 3.

The joint United States-New Zealand geological expedition to Antarctica had been put off till the 1967-68 season, the director of the Geological Survey of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (Mr R. W. Willett) said on his return to Wellington today.

Mr Willett said American officials were very keen on the joint venture but had other commitments for this year’s limited Antarctic season.
