Squadron Leader G. K. Young has been appointed secretary of the Canterbury Rugby Union and will take up his new duties shortly. At present Squadron Leader Young is senior administration and supply officer at the R.N.Z.A.F. Station at Wigram, but he will be retiring from the Air Force soon. For some years he has been closely associated with the administration of Rugby football on various Air Force stations.. He is 48 years of age.
