New Zealand’s Isle of Man captain, N. J. Landrebe (Dunedin), added another important victory to his already impressive list this season when he won the Southland senior Grand Prix at Teretonga last Saturday. In this race he defeated the reigning New Zealand Grand Prix champion T. R. McCleary, jun., of Christchurch, who finally finished runner-up. The open handicap race proved a triumph for Landrebe’s fiance, Miss D. Foote (Dunedin), the only woman road racing motorcyclist competing in New Zealand.
