ADOPTION OF ASIANS
(N.Z. Press Association)
AUCKLAND, Feb. 2.
The Minister of Immigration (Mr Shand) will reexamine the position of the admission of Asian children for adoption. He says this in a letter received by Mrs I. M. Courtney, of Titirangi, who is trying to adopt four Korean children.
“We think this is very promising,” Mrs Courtney said. "In his last letter he promised only to review our case. We are hoping that even if this doesn't help us it might eventually help others.”
