GRAB DREDGE REFITTED

Engineer Satisfied With Results

Cashin, the engineer-in-chief, reported to the Lyttelton Harbour Board yesterday. As a result, the dredge was now easily handling all the work it was required to do, he said. Final costs had not been fixed, but they would be very satisfactory. The alternative to the conversion would have been the purchase of a new dredge, which would have been very costly.
