Firearms School

(N.Z. Press Association)

WELLINGTON, Feb. 2.

A firearms training school to be established in Upper Hutt about April or May will be open to anyone who wants to learn about rifles and guns. Local small-bore rifle clubs, the National Rifle Association, gun clubs and the New Zealand Deerstalkers’ Association are co-operating. Objects are to teach new rifle and gun owners about firearms and to cut down New Zealand’s heavy toll of deaths and injuries caused by firearm accidents.
