Inter - Dominion Trotting Championship favourite, Gramel, registered a dashing trial at Harold Park on Monday night. The South Australian champion outclassed eight rivals in winning from 96 yards in a special night trial.
Gramel was timed to run the 11 miles in 3:9j nearly a second better than the official Australasian record for the distance.
