SHADY STROLLER FOR THREE.—When Mr and Mrs D. Lambert, of Goroka, in the eastern highlands of New Guinea, step out with their triplets, Bronwyn, Brenda, and Bevan, aged six months, they are the centre of attraction. The three-seat, front-to-rear pusher was built to their design by a welder at Bendigo. They could have been supplied with a three-seat, side-by-side pushchair, but the tracks round Goroka are mostly too narrow. This photograph was taken at Nunawading, Victoria, where Mr and Mrs Lambert were attending a Seventh Day Adventist camp.
