They will compete in four meetings within the next 11 days, but will return to New Zealand in time for the second day of their provincial championships on February 19. Their major races on the tour will be in Los Angeles on February 12 when they Will face many of the world’s greatest runners in the one and two-mi le events.

The four meetings will be in New York City, February 4, Philadelphia, February 5, Fort Worth, February 11, and Los Angeles, February 12. One of Davies’s opponents in the mile race at Los Angeles will be the Czech, Josef Odlozil, who edged out the New Zealander for the silver medal in the Tokyo Olympic 1500 metres.
