U.S. Girl’s Time

(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH.

The visiting American swimmer, Miss Judy Humbarger, set a New Zealand women’s backstroke record at New Plymouth last night. Miss Humbarger’s time of 71.9 sec for the 110 yards broke her own record of 72.25ec, which she set at Auckland last Saturday. About 1000 spectators wati ched the sponsored invitation events which featured the six American women swimmers. Results:
