BOMBING RAIDS CONTINUE

SAIGON, Feb. 2.
United States planes bombed North Vietnam for the second day after the end of the five-week bombing pause and also made hundreds of strikes south of the border yesterday.
Yesterday’s air attacks > against targets in North Viet-1 nam were concentrated in the southern section of the coun-' try as were Monday’s. Pilots flying through low overcast clouds dropped 7501 b j bombs with the aid of radar I on the Ben Thuy port facilities about five miles south south-east of Vinh. Other Air Force and Navy, pilots flying FlO5 Thunder-, chiefs and F 45 Phantoms struck bridges, roads and supply areas, with none of the targets nearer than 70 miles from Hanoi.
