SAIGON, Feb. 2.

United States planes bombed North Vietnam for the second day after the end of the five-week bombing pause and also made hundreds of strikes south of the border yesterday.

Pilots flying through low overcast clouds dropped 7501 b j bombs with the aid of radar I on the Ben Thuy port facilities about five miles south south-east of Vinh.
