Ram From Tasmania

A one-shear Polwarth ram from Tasmania is due to arrive at Harewood this evening, according to the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Ltd.

It is coming from Mr R. E. Lawrence, Cressy, Tasmania, for Mr L. G. Kingsbury, of Moana, Seafield. Mr Kingsbury has one of the two registered Polwarth flocks in the country. The other is also in Mid-Canterbury. He founded his flock in 1957 with the importation of 10 ewes with lambs at foot from New South Wales. This is the second ram he will have received from Mr Lawrence.
