The new pure wool quality symbol, the "Woolmark,” was found to be one of the bestknown consumer protection symbols in a survey carried! out in London. The Woolmark is being pro-i moted by the International | Wool Secretariat in 20 countries on behalf of the main wool suppliers, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. The survey found: “Although the Woolmark has only existed since 1964, it was generally recognised by all the people interviewed.” “We are very pleased with the results of the survey,” the general manager of the Wooll Board. Mr J. D. Fraser, said' in Wellington today.
