Market Improves As Trading Gains Tempo

Sharp rises were shown among Australian industrials by Colonial Sugar Refining, up 2s to 565, and W. R. Carpenter, up 3s to 245. Both reflected the trend in Australia. Ampol and Australian Consolidated Industries continued to improve.
