Many Recounts Expected

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 17. Many unsuccessful School Certificate candidates were expected to apply for recounts in various subjects, Education Department authorities announced today. Many applications for aegrotat passes by pupils incapacitated at examination time were at present under review, said the department authorities.

Recount applications close on February 10 and aegrotat pass successes would be completed by the end of this month.
