Work Starts On £3.6m Bridge
(N.Z. Pres* Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 17. Work on the £3,687,817 Thorndon fly-over by the Wilkins and Davies-Taylor Woodrow organisation began today. The first steps are the construction of site offices and a camp for the 200 men to be employed. A casting yard will be laid out for the making of prestressed concrete beams for the structure.
