WORKING AGAIN
Hellaby’s ’ Butchers J (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 17. More than 100 mutton i butchers who stopped work at i R. and W. Hellaby, Ltd.’s Ota- . huhu works last Tuesday re- ' turned to work this morning. The Auckland Freezing ■ Workers’ Union advised the • men to return to work so that further negotiations would not ! be prejudiced. Talks between the union : and the management resumed today. The dispute began when the company refused to meet the butchers’ request for a minimum pay rate of £5 10s a day.
