PUBLIC NOTICES WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT, 1953. HEARING OF OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE WAIMAIRI DISTRICT SCHEME The Waimairi County Council hereby gives notice that the hearing of objections to the proposed changes to the District Scheme will commence at the Council Chambers, at the cor ner of Clyde and Jeffreys roads at 9.30 o’clock in the forenoon on Tuesday, the Sth day of Feb ruary, 1966, and will continue as therearranged from time to time until all objections and witnesses have been heard. All persons who wish to be heard, in support of or in opposition to any objection shall notify the Council accordingly within at least three days before that date. The objections are available for inspection and copying at the County Office, cnr. Clyde and Jeffreys roads, Fendalton, and forms are available upon which objectors and supporters are to lodge their oppositions or support to the objection. The following is a. summary of the subject matter of objections received by the Council. 1. Objection to Johns road being Proposed Limited Access Road and minimum frontage to be 660 feet. 2. Objection to “National” Reserves being included in Ordinance 9 stating normal bulk and location requirements in reserves. 3. Objections to corner rounding at Kotare street-Weka street intersection. 4. Objections to proposed widening line of Fendalton road between Harper avenue and the Main North Railway. 5. Objections to rezoning the existing Commercial “C” zone at the intersection of Fendalton road/Clyde road/Memorial avenue as Residential “A” and the amendment of the proposed road widening line of Fendalton road and Memorial avenue (north side) between No. 178 Fendalton road and No. 10 Memorial avenue.
