MR C. T. FLYGER
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, Jan. 16. A former Dominion president of the New Zealand South African War Veterans’ Association, Mr Claude T. Flyger of Whangarei died on Friday. He was 85. He was elected president of the association in 1958. Mr Flyger was also president of the Northland branch of the association for a number of years.
Born in Wellington, Mr Flyger farmed and worked in the Manawatu, Taranaki and Wanganui area before coming to Northland with his father in 1935.
