HARVEST SCENE.—This harvesting picture was taken near Nelson this week when Mr W. S. Cresswell, a contractor, of Hope, was harvesting four acres of barley for Mr Paul Lines, of Hope. The barley, which was yielding 80 to 90 bushels to the acre, was being harvested with a new 10ft cut bulk header harvester and after being unloaded into the hopper on the motor truck over the fence in an adjoining paddock, it was being bagged off.
