King High Invercargill

“The Press” Special Service INVERCARGILL. King High, a five-year-old Light Brigade gelding from the same family as that which produced top pacers in Vedette and De Soto, will be expected to win his third race in succession when he contests the Manapouri Handicap at the opening of the Invercargill Trotting Club’s meeting today. He looks a second-to-none pronosition to qualify for a South'and Cup class field on the second day of the meeting on Wednesday. King High is one of a bracket with Awatata Lass and Golden Garry, all three being trained by L. F. Norman. The weather was bright and fine yesterday. Indications are for a firm track, but on the dead s<ide.
