THE NEW OFFICIAL CREST of the Royal New Zealand Navy. Unlike ships’ badges, which are surmounted by the naval crown, the new crest features St. Edward's Crown. The Garter blue surround bears the words, “Royal New Zealand Navy,” in gold. The central foul anchor is gold on a navy blue background, and the New Zealand fern leaves are silver.
