HUMES ENGINEERS—STRUCTURAL CONCRETE WE REQUIRE two Qualified Civil Engineers for our Structural Concrete Section, Head Office, Melbourne, Australia. Both positions have been necessitated by our continued rapidly increasing activities in all States. The section deals with client liaison, design, tendering, planning, production and administrative aspects of precast prestressed and reinforced concrete components. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: First position: Is one of a senior nature and duties will include special project investigation and product development. Applicants should have had at least 10 years’ practical experience, of which five years or more will have been in the design and production of prestressed concrete. This position will command an excellent salary which will be negotiated according to qualifications and past achievements. Second position: Requires at least eight years practical experience, some of which should preferably have been in the prestressed concrete field. Commencing salary for this position will be in the £A2700 £A3OOO range and will be fixed according to qualifications and experience.
