Lamb Prices Weaken (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 14. In spite of a very good demand this week for New Zealand lamb on the Smithfield Market, London, heavy pitchin gs tended to weaken prices, says the Meat Board’s information service. There was a slow inquiry for New Zealand mutton, but some improvement in demand for ewes. The main grade of hoggets (45-561 b sold at 15d to 16d per lb, wethers were at 14 Jd to 15d per lb and ewes at lid to Hid per lb.
