Chairman Praised
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LAGOS, Jan. 13. The “strong man” of the Lagos Prime Ministers’ conference may well be the Nigerian Prime Minister, Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa (above), whom Mr Wilson and other delegates praised for his courage in initiating the talks and the statesmanlike way in which he conducted the meetings. The conference was a personal triumph for him, said Mr Wilson.
