Explosion At Ski Resort
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) BRECKENRIDGE, (Colorado), Jan. 12.
One man was killed and about 15 other persons were injured—two of them seriously—on Monday at this mountain ski resort by an explosion that destroyed a three-storey timber structure. A worse toll was avoided because about 100 skiers were on the slopes when the blast occurred.
The wrecked building contained a gas-fired boiler, toilets, a warming room, and ski supplies. The cause of the explosion is not known.
