S. Vietnamese Sunk By U.S. (N .Z P.A .-Reuter—Copy right) TOKYO, Jan. 12. The Viet Cong claim American helicopters sank a South Vietnamese boat, killing more than 200 passengers, on a South Vietnam river last Saturday, according to a Hanoi broadcast monitored in Tokyo. It said the boat flew the flag of the “Saigon puppet government,” and sank after 25 minutes of “intense strafing by the United States pilots.”
