Egg-Laying Trial
Teams with leading egg scores at the end of the eleventh month of the 1965 laying trials of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club were: —
Six-bird teams. Australorps: Mrs G. M, Cromie (Christchurch), 1442 eggs. White Leghorns: S. W. and D. Ballantyne (Invercargill), 1404 eggs. Any other breeds: J. R. Campbell (Oamaru). 1454 eggs (Rhode Island Reds). Crossbreds: Bromley Park, Ltd. (Tuakau), 1412 eggs.
Twenty-bird teams.—Australorps: W. A. McClatchy (Kaiapoi), 4490 eggs. White Leghorns: H. G. Sugden (Christchurch). 3810 eggs.
