MODEL OF CATHEDRAL.—For more than 18 months, Mr Joseph Jones, aged 86, of Chell Heath, Stoke-on-Trent, has been working on this model of Milan Cathedral. He bought his fretwork saw for 1s 6d 73 years ago. For the 6ft high model, he has used 170 sq. ft. of wood and made 800 separate cuttings. The I model still requires the final spire.
