T utankhamen Withdrawn
The Auckland pacer Tutankhamen, has been withdrawn from the Inter-Dominion Championships, to be held at Harold Park, Sydney, next month.
His owner-trainer, S. Pemberton, said yesterday that he had been told that no shipping space was available until March.
“I then tried to get Tutankhamen on a plane I understand is leaving from Christchurch. The price quoted was £6OO. Later, I was told it was just under £4OO but by then I had scratched him,” he said.
