READY FOR CUP
Tracey Best At Levin "Tht Press” Special Service LEVIN. Tracey showed with a grand trial over five furlongs at Levin yesterday morning that she is ready for the Marton Cup at Marton on Saturday. Work was done on the course proper, where the markers were out 10ft. the the sand, and the plough. There were only two fast gallops. but both were good workouts.
Tracey (W. D. Skelton) was slightly in front of My Call (J. K. Searle) after five furlongs in Imin 4 2-ssec, the final half-mile in 51sec and the last three furlongs in 3S 3-ssec. Jetmate, another member of J. K. Searle’s team, which is not engaged this week, covered half a mile in 4Ssec, the final three furlongs in 36sec.
