BATTERY IN VIETNAM

Replacement Of Married Men (N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 11. About half the gunners in the New Zealand battery in Vietnam will be returning home within the next few months. “We hope to replace the majority of the married men,” the Adjutant-General (Brigadier A. H. Andrews) said today. “I think this will amount to approximately half the battery.” The battery strength is 125. Brigadier Andrews said the replacements would come from the regular forces in New Zealand.
