Dampier Docks For Repairs
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 10. H.M.S. Dampier, a Royal Navy survey ship, docked at Devonport today with one propeller out of action. The shaft had become misaligned The shaft will be replaced in Caliope dock at the end of the week. The ship will go to the New Hebrides next month. She towed the cruiser Royalist for 18 hours after it broke down off the Solomon Islands in November.
