Shortage Of Port Labour
Labour was short again at Lyttelton yesterday. At 7 a.m. 237 men were required. The Maranui and Castor were idle and other vessels were short manned. Three vessels lay at anchor awaiting berths. They were the Olivebank. Elian Haven and Clan Macdonald.
