The Silent ' Stick-up’

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) HUTCHINSON. (Texas), January 10. To Bascom B. Collins, a service station attendant, silence was golden. He reported that a man walked into the station, pointed a .38 revolver at him and announced: “This is a stick,UP” When Collins did not reply, the man again said: “This is a stick-up.” But again Collins did not respond. The man then shrugged his shoulders and walked away, saying, “All right then, I guess this isn’t a stick-up.” : Collins said later, “Well, ‘what do you say to a stick-up 'man?"
