CARPET FIRM IMPROVES
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) MELBOURNE, Jan. 7. Westminster Carpets Pty., Ltd., lifted group net profit from an adjusted £471,129 to £835,268 in the year to June 30. Tax provision jumped from £454,387 to £647,768, according to accounts filed with the companies’ registrar today. Depreciation edged up from £270,365 to £285,530.
Capital reserves rose by £562,716 to £1,293,633, after transfer from the appropriation account, stocks rose from £964.695 to £1,580,677. The company is the main subsidiary of Minster, Ltd.
