London Metals Exchange copper prices reached a new record level in trading on Thursday. Sellers were asking £576 a long ton, spot cash, and buyers were quoted at £574. Com. Bank Interim (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 7. The Commercial Bank of Australia, Ltd., today announced an interim dividend for the six months ended December 31, at the rate of 2 per cent on preference stock and 5 per cent on ordinary stock. The dividend will be payable in Australian currency on February 18 at 40 cents per unit of preference stock and 5 cents per unit of ordinary stock.
