REPAIRS AT AUCKLAND
Royal Navy Vessel (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 7. The Royal Navy survey ship Dampier will arrive in Auckland on Monday morning for general repairs and maintenance which will take about a month. The Dampier, which has been surveying the coast of Papua-New Guinea, was the first ship to come to the aid of the cruiser Royalist when she was disabled in the area in November.
