Ferry Wharf At Auckland
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 7. The construction of roll-on, roll-off ferry facilities at the new Tasman wharf in Auckland are planned for completion in mid-1967 to coincide with the arrival from overseas of a new Union Company roll-on ship. Confirming this today, the chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, Mr R. C. F. Savory, said the designs of the wharf and the ferry facilities were now under way.
