REPAIRS TO ENDEAVOUR

No Effect On Programme (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 7. Propeller and shaft repairs to H.M.N.Z.S. Endeavour, due at Wellington on Sunday, will be carried out on the floating dock. The Endeavour was damaged by ice coming out of McMurdo Sound on December 27.

Two spare shafts and propellers have been sent to Wellington from Auckland. The original programme of the Endeavour was to make an oceanographic cruise and a second supply voyage to the Antarctic on February 7 and it is expected she will be able to keep to her timetable.
