YOUNG GIRL ATTACKED
A 13-year-old girl was attacked by an unknown man in Edna street, Burwood, about 11 o'clock last evening.
The girl had got off a bus at a nearly stop, when she noticed a car following her slowly along the road. As soon as she began to run, a man got out of the car and followed her. He caught up with her, and attempted to indecently assault her. When she began to scream, he got back into the car and drove off. The police are continuing inquiries.
