LAMPHOUSE ISSUE
Allotments of about half the shares available from the Lamphouse Properties, LtdWellington, par issue of 400,000 5s ordinary shares, has been made, the- company’s managing director (Mr A. S. Cornish) said yesterday. This move would mean the company could start business, he said Applications for shares had been heavy but no further allotments would be made until the last week in June This was because investors in the Cornish Investment Plan were being given un til June 22 to decide if they wanted to convert their investments into shares in the new company, Mr Cornish said. This could affect the number of shares available to the general public, he added Subscriptions to the issue opened on June 8 and will close on August 31. or earlier if the directors decide.
