Sir, —“Coal is Not Modern” should breathe factory fumes and smoke daily to revise his idea that anything can be accomplished to eliminate either until seven years pass —if any of the suffering are still alive after subjection to filth and poisons from smoke. Spot ' zoning® and special clauses for retentions do not clean up city air.—Yours, etc.,'
