Doctor For Tokyo

(N.Z. Press Association) . WELLINGTON, June 16. An official team doctor, Dr. Renton Grigor, of Auckland, will travel with the New Zealand party to the Olympic Games in Tokyo. This was decided by the New Zealand Olympic and British Empire Games Association’s executive tonight. The chairman (Mr H. 1. Austad) said it had always been the association’s policy that all teams going away should have good care. Dr. Grigor has long been associated with many of New Zealand’s leading sportsmen and has over recent years conducted examinations of team members leaving for Olympic or Empire Games. Mr C. L. S. Cross said that Dr. Grigor was also the Auckland president of the British Council of Sports Medicine and while in Tokyo would be able to have discussions with other council members that would no doubt prove helpful on his return.
