TRAINING AS OFFICERS

10 To Begin Army Course Soon Ten candidates who were chosen from 28 applicants for officer training in the New Zealand Army will begin their training soon. The men chosen by the Regular Force Selection Board included six Regular soldiers, two Territorials and two civilians. Their names, announced yesterday by Army Headquarters; are:--Sergeant G. J. Williams, Lance-Bombadier J. M. Kiff. Mr R. M. Mountfort. Mr S. J. Willetts, Private C. E. Brock, Craftsman P. Q. Horgan, Second-Lieutenant R. W. Thomson (from the Territorial Force), Sergeant J. N. Staines, Cadet P. S. Sullivan, and Lance-Corporal A. R. Kiwi.
