MAYFIELD DOG TRIALS
A good standard of work was seen during the three-day dog trials conducted by the Mayfield Collie Dog Club at Mayfield. The trial ended on Thursday Entries were more than last year, and were received from all parts of Canterbury, with a few from Southland. The judees were Mr s. M. Chaney (huntaway). Mr C Johnson (heading), and Mr N M. Navsmith (handy event and drive-in-ya rd). Results were as follows: Long Pull—Open class: T. E. Harwells Flirt and Trim 9« E ; R Haines’s >???'. 3 Intermediate: W.
